ADI Foundation and DCM Partner to Enable Tokenized Deposits on Existing Banking Infrastructure
2026-09-08 资讯 ADI FoundationTechnical partnership will allow banks to connect existing systems to ADI Chain, combining DCM’s banking technology with ADI’s institutional blockchain infrastructure and regional reach across MENA and Sub Saharan Africa
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates and LONDON, Sept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ADI Foundation and DCM Corp Limited (“DCM”) today announced a technical partnership designed to make blockchain adoption more practical for banks and financial institutions across MENA and Sub Saharan Africa.
The partnership addresses one of the principal barriers to institutional blockchain adoption by eliminating the need for banks to replace or substantially rebuild core infrastructure to access blockchain-based financial services.
Under the partnership, DCM will provide the banking technology and implementation layer enabling institutions to issue, manage and settle tokenized deposits on ADI Chain while integrating with existing banking infrastructure. DCM’s Side-core platform is designed to operate alongside existing banking infrastructure, enabling institutions to introduce capabilities such as tokenized deposits while retaining their existing core systems, customer accounts, compliance processes and operational controls. ADI Foundation will provide the institutional blockchain infrastructure through ADI Chain, alongside regional relationships and market access to support adoption across MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Under the agreement, DCM will serve as ADI’s exclusive provider and implementation partner for Tokenized Deposit Solutions across MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa, while ADI will serve as DCM’s exclusive distribution and referral channel for those solutions on ADI Chain in the same territory.
Svyatoslav Senyuta, Chief Business Officer at ADI Foundation said: “Banks do not need another technology project that requires them to rebuild systems that already work. The practical path to blockchain adoption is to connect new capabilities to the infrastructure banks already trust and operate every day. DCM provides that connection while ADI provides the institutional blockchain infrastructure and regional reach across MENA and Africa. Together, we want to make tokenized deposits a deployable banking capability, rather than a multi-year transformation project.”
Maryna Virko, Director, DCM, said: “Banks should not have to choose between maintaining trusted core infrastructure and participating in the next generation of financial services. DCM was built to allow institutions to add blockchain capabilities such as tokenized deposits while preserving their existing systems, controls and customer relationships. Partnering with ADI combines that technology with institutional blockchain infrastructure and a strong route to market across MENA and Africa, creating a practical model for banks looking to adopt blockchain without unnecessary disruption.”
DCM’s Side-core technology is designed to integrate with both legacy and modern core banking platforms while keeping the bank in control of customer accounts, transaction authorization, risk parameters and compliance. The platform also supports existing banking standards including ISO 20022 and is designed so transactions continue to operate through institutions’ established compliance and AML frameworks.
Tokenized deposits are blockchain-based representations of commercial bank deposits. DCM’s model is designed so those deposits remain part of the bank’s existing balance-sheet and regulatory framework while gaining capabilities such as 24/7 transferability and programmable transaction logic. DCM describes its approach as adding digital rails to existing deposits rather than requiring banks to create a separate banking system.
ADI Chain is designed for institutional deployment, including financial services and tokenized assets. By combining this infrastructure with DCM’s integration technology, the partnership is intended to give banks a pathway from their existing core systems to blockchain-based financial infrastructure while maintaining the regulatory and operational controls required by financial institutions.
The partnership forms part of ADI Foundation’s broader strategy to support practical institutional blockchain adoption across the Middle East, Africa and other emerging markets.
