Experienced business leader to drive sustainable growth, organizational development and operational excellence across the Asia-Pacific region
SEOUL, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NSF, a global human health organization, has announced Hanjun Kwon as its Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. As Managing Director of NSF APAC, Hanjun leads teams across the region to drive sustainable growth, organizational development and operational excellence in support of NSF's Blueprint 2030 strategy. He is responsible for strengthening customer partnerships, fostering cross-business collaboration and advancing NSF's mission to protect and advance human health throughout APAC.
“Hanjun brings two decades of international, cross-functional experience building high-performing organizations to NSF,” said James Howe, Vice President, International Markets at NSF. “His diverse expertise will further our strategic focus in the region, creating greater access to trust and transparency.”
Hanjun joined NSF on August 24 and is based in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to joining NSF, he held senior leadership positions at Entegris, Honeywell, Henkel and Dow Corning, with responsibilities spanning commercial strategy, key account management, business development, strategic marketing and portfolio management. Throughout his career, he has led teams and growth initiatives across multiple regions and technology-driven B2B industries.
“I am honored to join NSF, an organization recognized globally for its commitment to science-driven standards, quality and human health,” said Hanjun Kwon. “I look forward to working with our teams, customers and partners across APAC to accelerate sustainable growth, strengthen collaboration and expand the impact of NSF's trusted solutions throughout the region.”
Hanjun holds an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration from Sogang University in Korea and Alma College in the United States.
In APAC, NSF is establishing its position as a leader in Food, Water and Wellness. In December, the organization is expected to publish NSF/KWTC 555, a new standard that will localize NSF/ANSI 61 and create an industry-wide solution for safer, more sustainable drinking water across Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, NSF continues to offer technical expertise and certifications in the areas of food safety, dietary supplements and personal care products.
